Classes meet every week. We follow the Jackson County School Schedule. When the schools are closed we are also closed.

Yes there is a dress code for all classes. You can find this under the dress code Tab.

Yes if your child is enrolled in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, hip hop, or pointe they must have the proper shoes for classes.

Enrollment into classes is based by age and skill level. When you register your child online put them in their age group and teachers will evaluate them when dance classes start. They will be moved according to their skill level.

Miley’s does one annual recital usually scheduled the last weekend in May.

The Recital Performance is an annual showcase where your children get on a stage and perform what they learned from the year in dance. It is there time to shine and show you how hard they worked.

Yes, lowest ticket prices are Black Friday sales, limited quantities sold. Once sold out must purchase a presale price or at door price.

Miley’s currently doesn’t have a Christmas Performance.

Miley’s suggest auditioning for the Southern Nutcracker presented by Southern Arts Alliance.

POM, Acro, and Technique Classes are non recital classes.

Your child can take dance classes from Aug-Dec if they choose not to participate in Recital. All Recital class enrollment Jan-May must participate in Recital.

The $100 recital fee per child covers the cost to rent the venue space, light and sound technician. Each child receives a participation trophy and a recital t-shirt which has the theme on one side and all students in the show on the back.

Choreography for all recital classes are required to start in January, however it is up to the teachers discretion if they choose to start earlier.

Yes Costumes are required to purchase for all recital dances.

Recital Costume prices are estimated at $100 per costume, however this price can be more or less depending on the costumes the teachers choose. We break down payments from Aug-Dec. at $20 per costume per month.

No combo classes such as Ballet/Tap 1 only have one transitional costume. These are designed to transform into two different looks.

There is optional purchases for recital such as a program book Ad, program book, stuffed animal, flower bouquet, recital video, and poster.

Costume Picture week is mandatory for group pictures only. Single pictures are an optional purchase.

Photoshop option for groups will no longer be offered if your child misses picture day.

Information is sent to emails on accounts, notifications on the app, and through Facebook. Please check your accounts, emails, and Facebook often for updated information.

Typically Recital Ads and Souvenirs go on sale in January and end in March.
